Larry Galyean was President of North Central FL AACA for over 10 years, and carshow chairman for 13 years. Larry has been an active collector car club member for 27 years – and very passionate about locating parts for restoration projects.

SOUTHERN YOSEMITE AUTOMOTIVE FILM FESTIVAL

Dave Wolin initiated this festival, therefore the organizers wanted to thank him for bringing this important event to the community and felt the highest honor would be to bestow this award.

MUSTANG OWNERS CLUB OF CALIFORNIA SHOW
June 24, 2007 – Woodley Park, Van Nuys, CA


Dorothy Gates was recognized for being President of South Bay Mustang Owners club (11 straight years) and VERY involved with many other car clubs (Mustang Owners Club of California, Orange County Mustang Club, San Diego Mustang Club, etc.). Dorothy has been a car club member for 23 years, as well as owned a collector vehicle for 44 years.

ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION CLASSIC AUTO SHOW & CRUISE
July 6-7, 2007 – Dublin, OH

Andrew Trux from Mid-Ohio region, Porsche Club of America accepted the award on behalf of his club. Andrew has been extremely active in his car club for 31 years. He has served as President, among other positions. He has volunteered technical advice and assisted in the reassembly of at least 3 different Porsches during the restoration process.

July 21, 2007 – Lincolnshire, IL

Charles (Chuck) Jensen passed away before he could receive this award in person. His widow, Lois Jensen, accepted it on his behalf. Chuck served two terms as the National President in 1991 and 1992 for the National Board of the WPC club. Chuck enjoyed giving automotive presentations to local civic groups. He and his wife Lois sponsored the Lois and Chuck Jensen Award for the P15 Plymouth, a car near and dear to his heart.

LINCOLN AND CONTINENTAL SHOW
August 8-12, 2007 – Federal Way, WA


Chris and Ed Gray were given the award because they have been car club members for 21 years, as well as membership co-chairs for 10 years. They accepted this award as a “team.” They enjoy restoring old convertibles, detailing cars, managing the membership database, planning national shows, and attending monthly car club events.

Carroll Shelby has been a car club member for 50 years. Carroll’s organizations include: Carroll Shelby Children’s Foundation and Automotive Hall of Fame. Carroll has helped restore Cobra cars and reproductions all around the world. Carroll Shelby was also the Grand Marshal of the Concours show. And, all Mustang lovers are familiar with the “Shelby” and he continues to advise on automotive design.
