Pat Rego, owner of Classic Creations, a restoration shop is often amused when people realize she is a woman and very knowledgeable when it comes to restoring these classic beauties. Her contribution in helping bring these cars back to their glory days is immeasurable.

Frances Shore is a 37-year life member and served in numerous capacities, such as senior master judge, library and research center board of directors, endowment fund committee, secretary, twice recipient of the Master Editor Award in AACA and countless other honors for her continuous participation in the classic car world.

Dr. Eddie and Joanne Dauer, in addition to 37 cumulative years as collectors and advising club members and friends on proper restoration techniques and procedures, are responsible for organizing the selection of automobiles, picking of judges, and set up of the show field for the Boca Raton Conours d’ Elegance which benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County.

THE AMELIA ISLAND CONCOURS D’ ELEGANCE

Don Sommer founded the Meadow Brook Concours over 30 years ago and has raised millions of dollars for the preservation of the Dodge Estate, Meadow Brook Hall. Additionally, Don manufactures replacement parts for classic cars.

LEGENDS OF RIVERSIDE
March 26-28, 2010 – Riverside, CA

Norma Jordan has been involved in the automobile world since 1959. She is currently the Event Coordinator for the Riverside International Automotive Museum and works with the promoters of the Legends of Riverside event, making it a very popular Southern California Show.

MOPARS AT THE STRIP
March 26-28, 2010 – Las Vegas, NV

Doug West has been involved with the collector car hobby for 40 years, both as a collector and a restorer. He sentimentally restored a 1959 DeSoto Adventurer, which he and his wife, Wendy, used while dating in high school. He is a supporter of a number of philanthropic organizations and has helped people as far away as Australia find parts for their restoration projects.

WALTER P. CHRYSLER SHOW
June 30-July 3, 2010 – Dayton, OH

Lloyd VerHage is a “died in the wool Chrysler man,” with his family obtaining a Chrysler franchise in 1934 in Grandville, MI. The family sponsors a Chrysler meet at the dealership and also is involved in the Mopars at the Red Barns show. His collection includes over 20 vintage Chryslers and Plymouths.

Lance Lambert, executive producer and host of The Vintage Vehicle Show, can easily boast that he has not only emceed hundreds of volunteer hours on behalf of numerous charities, but writes countless automotive articles. He also participates in many shows and enjoys taking on “orphan” cars and restoring them to their original beauty.

NEW ENGLAND COUNCOURS D’ELEGANCE
July 16-18, 2010 – Burlington, VT *NPD

Carlos and Kathy Heiligmann cumulatively have been involved in the car-collector hobby for 50 years. They owned and showed vehicles from numerous manufacturers and eras. They bequeathed their 1947 Mexico-export DeSoto to the WPC Museum, where it will be preserved as an example of the Chrysler post-war export line.

GUNNISON CAR CLUB
August 20-22, 2010 – Gunnison, CO

Wil Cooksey’s contributions to the automobile industry ranges from assistant professor in industrial engineering at GMI to holding a number of positions at several plants to currently production manager at the Fairfax plant. He sits on the board of a number of non-profit community organizations and is a distinguished veteran of the military. Wil has also been featured in numerous automotive related magazines.

MCA “MUSTANGS AT THE MANSION”

Arley and Wanda Whitsell are a dynamic duo in the classic Mustang world. Cumulatively, they have devoted well over 30,000 unpaid hours to their many MCA duties, while serving in numerous leadership roles and assisting with many Mustang repairs for the members.

Eldon Hostetler, in addition to donating an endowment to the town of Shipshewana, Indiana that includes over four million dollars in rare vehicles, he is an expert on the Hudson. Anyone that calls for help, he readily assists with purchase, parts and restoration. He has been involved with the collector-car hobby for over 30 years.

Craig Jackson, Chairman and CEO of the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company, is one of the world’s most respected car collector and restoration experts. Jackson’s auctions are known all over the world and he consistently has improved the quality and scope of the events. His commitment to philanthropy has earned millions of dollars for charities across the country.

LAKE MIRROR CLASSIC

Carole Eastman accepted posthumously on behalf of her husband, Art Eastman. Art was an automotive journalist, photographer and graphic artist. He created all the Lake Mirror artwork and posters from 1999 through last year.

HILTON HEAD ISLAND CONCOURS AND MOTORING FESTIVAL
October 29-November 7, 2010, Hilton Head, SC *NPD

Bill Alley is a virtual library of facts. He will make the parts if he cannot find what the other person is seeking. He specializes in collecting brass era cars, about 125 in total, many pre-1915. Through his various automotive affiliations, he has been a major participant in Driving Young America Fund for scholarships to individuals and institutions.
